Quang Ny Lys (CD)
Quang Ny Lys is a project by Rita Maria, João Mortágua and Mané Fernandes. The voice, the saxophone and the guitar are explored and turned inside out, in acoustic and electronic, concrete and abstract. They come together , after many adventures, through the world and through music, to explore together what unites them in New/Ny Light/Quang/Lys. The project is based on artistic experimentation on the standards of the North American jazz songbook, intangible heritage that these three musicians have in common in their training.
